You have successfully finished your university degree and now you'd like to get started on an international career. You're keen to take on responsibility for clearly defined projects and you're interested in strategic issues and problem solving. If so, you've come to the right place:

Our International Trainee Program lasts for 12-18 months. First, you will be given an insight into our holding company in the city of Duisburg, Germany to gain in-depth knowledge about us and our business. Then you will have a variety of deployments in our foreign subsidiaries where you will take charge of international projects in close cooperation with our CEO.

Moreover you will have the opportunity to take part in Basic Management Training sessions held at the Franz Haniel Academy in Duisburg to refine your general technical expertise and soft skills.

This is what we will expect from you:

A university degree in Business Studies or Economics, ideally with a focus on Strategic Management, Marketing, Financial Controlling, Sales or Logistics
Experience of studying or working abroad
Preliminary practical experience, e.g. internships
An interest in strategic issues
Excellent knowledge of English, German would be an asset
Well-developed communication skills
The ability to think and act analytically and apply business acumen
A customer-focused approach to work
A high degree of flexibility and international mobility
