The successful candidate will work in the sheet metal contracting department with a focus on various sheet metal associated HVAC products ( i.e. fans, silencers, etc.)

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

- Work closely with external clients, including visits to sites within the GTA area post sale and during the projects construction phase

- Work well with technical people (general contractors, engineers, architects, designers)

- Negotiate with contractors…beyond price

- Assist clients in selecting the right products to satisfy project specific needs

- Order product and coordinate product deliveries to site

- Prepare take-offs and quotes

- Inside sales support

- Assist project managers

- Coordinate projects from beginning to end

- Maintain accurate files showing revisions and status

- Juggle priorities of numerous jobs

- work within uncertainty and changes at short notice

- coordinate change orders and approvals when required

Education and Experience:

- CET or other technical diploma, i.e. mechanical technician or technologist (or similar)

- If you have experience, working within the construction or engineering industry is preferred but we value complimentary experience

- We are open to a recent graduate or someone with relevant experience
