Jackson County in Jacksboro, Texas began building a new facility for their Faith Community Hospital in October 2013. The new 87,000 square-foot campus will triple the size of the original hospital, built in 1958. Faith Community Hospital will offer a walk-in community clinic, emergency facility, and wellness center with an indoor pool. HTS was chosen as the basis of design for this project and worked with Rogers-O’Brien and O’Connell Robertson to provide a highly efficient HVAC system.
HTS equipped the facility with two Daikin AGZ Scroll Chillers with VFD Pumping Packages, nine Skyline AHUs with MAS HVAC EMC plenum fans, and 44 Daikin WSHP’s. The air handling units for this project required many special accommodations, which HTS was able to coordinate with the Daikin Factory and MAS HVAC. The manufacturers were able to work out the needs of the facility and provide Directive Drive ECM Plenum Fans and special piping vestibules to house the system’s humidifiers.
