Houston’s Municipal Courts building has a new HVAC system as a result of HTS Texas’ retrofit work for the city during the summer of 2010. The company provided two, 170-ton Daikin McQuay WMCs for the 104,000-square-foot facility that houses 45 courtrooms downtown. These chillers are designed with integrated variable-frequency drives optimized by digital controls, which decrease power consumption and maximize system performance.
