HTS New England provided the construction of Johnson and Wales new academic building with a custom HVAC system. As basis of design, HTS equipped the 71,000 square-foot building with 75,000 CFM of Haakon Air Handling Units. The energy efficient design helps qualify the building for LEED certification as well.
The flexible and versatile units will ensure the 3-story facility, home to Johnson and Wale’s School of Engineering & Design and biology program, is fit for the research and innovation hub it will serve as.
