HTS New England was selected as the basis of design to provide Lasell College with an ultra-quiet 130 ton Daikin RoofPak installation.
Founded in 1851, Lasell College spans 53 acres and is home to 1,800 students each year, requiring the RPS unit to be suitable for an academic environment. The 50,000 square foot academic building required an HVAC system that was equipped with ultra-quiet condenser fans and compressor blankets, so it would not disturb students during class time and studying. HTS also provided a RPS unit with two points of power, allowing a condenser split off for emergency power usage, as well as a custom pewter finish that Finger Lakes Engineering applied.
HTS was also able to provide the required double-pitched rooftop curb applicable for the 571 inch long RPS.
