Nelson Mandela Park Public School is one of the oldest educational facilities in Toronto, dating back to as early as 1853. It was originally named Park Public School and then renamed Nelson Mandela Park Public School in 2013 to commemorate Mandela’s 2001 visit to the school. The school went through an extensive renovation and expansion from 2010 and finished in 2013.
HTS provided the majority of mechanical equipment and contributed to the building’s Silver LEED accreditation and supplied the following equipment:
- Haakon custom roof top units with heat recovery
- Haakon custom indoor air handling units
- Sigma heating products
- B&G HVAC pumps and heat exchangers
