HTS Texas helped the US Army’s SAAMC Tango hospital in San Antonio find an energy-efficient replacement to their old HVAC system.
Being a hospital, the building couldn’t shut down for installation, so the units needed to be replaced while the building was still operating and occupied. The price and availability of HTS’ Daikin McQuay line of energy-efficient air handling units met the client’s needs and goals. Five Vision units, two Skyline units, and two Destiny models were installed and totaled 142,760 CFM. The hospital received a nomination for the 2011 Excellence in Construction Awards in the over $40 million categories.
