The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality renovated its headquarters in Austin. HTS was chosen as the basis of design for the project as the engineer, ACR, was impressed with our innovative offering of cooling towers.
The goals of the project were to upgrade to a cost-effective cooling tower with low maintenance and high efficiency and to run a quick, smooth replacement install while keeping costs low. Meeting these project goals, HTS provided a 300-ton cooling tower. With this newly installed tower, the facility requires half as much maintenance and sees a 30% lower water treatment bill and 30% part load energy savings. Along with these benefits, the quality of the cooling tower provided by HTS offers a lifespan twice as long as competitor towers.
