Description

Objective:  primary responsibility is to fulfill phone and email parts orders by procuring quotes from suppliers and quoting customers; produce purchase orders and invoices through company computer software; follow-up and troubleshoot to ensure customer satisfaction.

Must have a professional appearance, be detail oriented, provide quality customer service, and have a positive attitude.

Prior HVAC parts experience preferred but not required.

Assist in day-to-day parts operations:

  • Determine and fulfill customer needs for parts through lookup and sourcing
  • Complete sales for customers over the phone and via email
  • Enter orders into computer system
  • Process and receive returned items and stock orders and perform any other light-duty tasks as specified by the manager
  • Maintain safe and secure environment by following prescribed safety regulations.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge/skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and parts preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics skills
  • Perform all clerical/computer functions in the Parts Department
  • Excellent phone manners and strong communication skills
  • Possess good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
  • Self-motivated with a positive team-player attitude
  • Enjoy challenges and interacting with a variety of people and situations
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction

Requirements/working conditions:

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Valid Social Security number
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices), carry and climb ladders
  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules
  • Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
