HTS Texas is currently looking to add a Marketing Communications Specialist to our established and dynamic marketing team. This role will be based in our Austin office, and will report directly to the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Communications Specialist will take full ownership of the marketing automation engine and HTS website to implement our digital communication strategy to support strategic company goals, grow brand awareness, capture leads, and nurture established relationships. They must be able to work independently to confidently drive their own projects and deadlines.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end communications plan development and execution focused on demand generation including communications, messaging, creative and content strategies aligned to global marketing programs
  • Leverage basic HTML skills to build email and landing page templates
  • Build and manage email distribution lists, lead generation forms, and landing pages
  • Track and report on analytics for website, social media, and automation efforts
  • Oversee content updates and technical tasks for HTS website to support optimization efforts
  • Support website optimization efforts
  • Strategize on opportunities, like ad words and back links, to further grow brand awareness and lead capture potential
  • Implement and maintain organic social media plan to build and engage with target audiences
  • Create and manage our digital communication content calendar
  • Supports the development and distribution of digital and print marketing materials for sales, recruiting, office branding, events, and current program support
  • Assist in executing webinars, trade shows, and other events
  • Support on other tasks and projects as needed

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or another related field
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in marketing, communications, technical writing, and/or design

Skills:

  • Marketing Automation System (Pardot, Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, etc.) – Intermediate to advanced proficiency
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) – Intermediate to advanced proficiency
  • HTML Code- Basic to Intermediate proficiency
  • MSOffice Word – Intermediate proficiency to advanced
  • MSOffice Excel – Intermediate proficiency
  • MSOffice Outlook – Intermediate to advanced proficiency
  • MSOffice Power Point – Intermediate proficiency
  • Technical content writing – Intermediate proficiency

Travel: 5%

May be required to travel to event venues within Texas. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
