Plant Accountant – Epsilon

Company Background: 

Epsilon is a leader in the Off-Site Construction (OSC) industry, delivering mechanical/electrical-centric systems in a modular, pre-fabricated form, optimized for a streamlined on-site completion by us or others.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Enter AP Invoices
• Solving AP issues
• Employee Expenses
• Visa Statement Entry
• Review customer statements

Other Operations Related Activity

• Ensuring that items are recorded in a timely manner - Receipts, consumptions, returns
• Assessing all negative inventory levels periodically
• Approving adjustments to inventory
• Determining department/family/area to be counted periodically
• PO related issues/Management
• Sales Order Reports
• Report consisting of sales orders to date
• Monthly/Weekly Management Meetings

Accounts Receivable

• Email Customer invoices to a select few customers
• Review AR statements monthly
• Calculating backlog number weekly
• Receipt Postings

Qualifications/Skills:

• University Degree or College Diploma specializing in accounting or business
• Fully computer literate
• Basic knowledge of accounting policy and procedures (GAAP for Private Enterprises - ASPE)
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to interact at all organizational levels
• Good analytical skills
• 1 year of progressive accounting experience
