Saint John's Lutheran Church was built in 1932, which meant that renovations came with huge space constraints, and the owners were concerned about humidity because of a large, expensive organ housed in the sanctuary. Keeping noise levels low presented another challenge, as both the owners and congregation mentioned they were worried about a new HVAC system interrupting the sermons.

HTS worked as the basis of design to alleviate these concerns, equipping the building with 1 Daikin Vision AHU. The variable dimensioning available for this unit was critical to get the AHU downstairs and installed into the existing mechanical room, and adding EC fan arrays cut down energy costs and noise levels. Having a semi-custom unit ensures it is easily serviceable and won't disturb the congregation on Sundays. HTS worked closely with several committees for approval and even discussed the importance of these changes with the congregation themselves during three separate services.
