When Ernest Health, Inc. decided to build a world-class rehab facility serving the New Braunfels, Comal, Guadalupe, and Hays communities, the team knew they needed to put patient comfort at the top of their priorities. This new 50,000 square foot, 40-bed rehabilitation hospital located in New Braunfels currently provides both inpatient and outpatient rehab programs for patients recovering from a variety of illnesses and injuries.
To provide a comfortable facility for the patients, this New Braunfels Regional Rehab Hospital required an HVAC system that was quiet, dependable, and energy-efficient. HTS Texas teamed up with 5-F Mechanical’s Austin group to supply and install three energy-efficient, high-quality McQuay RPS Packaged rooftop units totaling 170 Tons, which were the basis of design, and 108 sound-sensitive VAV boxes with hot water coils. With the installation now complete this top-tier, Central Texas hospital can enjoy a reliable, quiet cooling system for years to come.
