Located in Hamilton, Ontario, Westmount Secondary School opened in 1961 and now serves over 1000 students. Their science lab renovations began in the summer of 2017 as part of a $55-million high school renewal strategy. The project is part of a five-year strategy to spend $11 million annually on 11 high schools that survived closure reviews to bring science labs, learning commons, gym floors, and playing fields up to more equal standards.
