Job Mandate: As an Associate Product Manager at HTS, you will be responsible for prioritizing tasks and decisions on the assigned projects, while collaborating daily with other product, development, and support team members. Working alongside the Head of Product, you will define and write the requirements for the product roadmap and communicate the status of the product to all relevant stakeholders and balance business objectives and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the execution of software projects by working closely with the Product, Development and Support teams to ensure solutions are ultimately delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Responsible for problem and solution discovery efforts by conducting internal stakeholder and customer interviews and research and running experiments to validate concepts.
  • Communicates with business stakeholders and application users to understand requirements, pain points, and business drivers to formulate product vision and strategy.
  • Writes stories that articulate work to be done by the Development team in support of solutions and production support.
  • Works with development & testing managers to obtain delivery high-level estimation and timelines and plan committed and forecasted schedule based on resource capacity.
  • Maintains a prioritized backlog that maps to an overall program and product roadmap.
  • Performs validation testing of production releases, and feature requests.
  • Provides regular status reporting on product delivery to leadership and customers.
  • Manages issues and risks throughout the product delivery lifecycle.
  • Assists with defining, reviewing, and updating roadmap on a regular basis to factor changes in priority, resources, or product direction.
  • Supports Head of Product to set product vision and goals and assists with negotiations and decision making.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or business management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or related discipline
  • Solid technical background and experience managing software products using agile methodologies
  • Strong understanding of market problems/needs in the Product Management space
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Makes smart trade-off decisions that maximize the value delivered while minimizing time-to-market
  • Experience managing product in Jira is an asset
  • Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage stakeholder relationships and prioritize stakeholder requests
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, extremely responsive, and able to prioritize many tasks
  • Self-starter who enjoys experimenting with ideas and approaches
  • Works effectively as a cross-functional leader
  • Experience managing ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies within a product development cycle

Additional Details:

  • Salary range: $90,000-100,000/yr
