Derry Green Industrial Park embraces modern HVAC technology to align with sustainable building practices and reduce its environmental impact. Collaborating with Ecovert, a sustainability consulting firm, the project eliminated reliance on fossil fuels by implementing an advanced heat recovery system coupled with heat pump technology.
The HVAC system includes energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) that utilize exhaust air to pre-condition incoming fresh air, minimizing energy consumption for heating and cooling. Complementing this, a heat pump-based VRF system provides precise and efficient temperature control throughout the facility. This fully electric system highlights the innovative design strategies used to create a comfortable and environmentally responsible industrial space.
HTS supplied the following equipment:
- Tempeff Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs)
- Daikin VRF Condensing Units for Heat Pump Operation
