Located in the South Riverdale area, Dundas Junior Public School was built in 1917 with a large addition constructed in 1961. This school serves almost 280 students of a diverse multicultural background.
Over the past two years approximately $8 million dollars has been spent on upgrades to improve their building facility. This includes upgrades to improve: air quality, heating, electrical, roof, classrooms and daily operations. In Spring of 2017 renovations were approved to take place in Kindergarten classrooms so that students could have easier access to bathrooms, and plans were put in motion for their Playground Revitalization Project.
