A specialized and reliable HVAC system was needed for the First Choice ER in Cypress, TX. HTS Texas was able to provide quality solutions within the client’s budget.
HTS worked closely with Standard Mechanical to make sure the client was receiving value engineering in both design and budget. Indoor air quality and tight temperature control were two major concerns for the facility, which houses offices, patient rooms and surgery rooms.
Installed were seven Daikin McQuay high-efficiency air handling units, totaling 12,285 CFM, and three condensing units for the AHUs, totaling 20 tons. Also installed in the AHUs were six UV lights for premium air filtration, making sure that the best possible air quality was maintained for the ER.
The owner is very satisfied with the units performance and the level of attention that was given to the project from start to finish by HTS.
