Houston’s theater enthusiasts will stay especially cool at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts due to two single-compressor, 500-ton Daikin McQuay WMCs provided by HTS Texas during the summer of 2010. These Daikin McQuay Magnitude magnetic bearing chillers were selected for their extremely quiet sound levels, industry-leading efficiency and proven reliability. The facility, which opened in 2002 in the center of the Houston Theater District, houses two acoustically superior theaters, as well as the award-winning Artista Restaurant and Lobby Bistro.
