Houston Police Station Headquarters

HTS Texas provided 18 McQuay Air-Handling Units for the 28-story Houston Police Department (HPD) headquarters. In addition to housing the administrative offices for the largest municipal police department in Texas, HPD headquarters also is home to the recently relocated police museum, which occupies the facility’s lobby. HTS Texas also provided one 290-ton Daikin McQuay WMC for the 14-year-old HPD North Police Station, located at 9455 W. Montgomery Road and two 290-ton WMCs to the Southeast Police Station. These frictionless chillers will continue to maintain their high efficiency ratings since the oil-free design eliminates oil-degredation seen in standard centrifigual chillers.
