Laurentian Public School required a mechanical solution that could balance year-round comfort with energy efficiency. Daikin unit ventilators were selected as the basis of design, offering both standard cooling and heating through integrated hot water coils to support colder ambient conditions.
To further enhance efficiency, Daikin heat pump condensing units were incorporated into the system. By relying on heat pump technology during the shoulder heating season, the boilers operate less frequently, reducing energy consumption while maintaining reliable performance for students and staff.
