AA Gonzalez Engineers, Inc. selected HTS Texas as the basis of design for this new 74,850 square-foot project. The client, NM Edificios, LLC, needed the building, a beverage distribution center, to maintain a tight temperature control of 60 degrees at all times to protect their product from spoiling.
HTS Texas introduced the client to an air turnover system, an efficient way to maintain the temperature without taking up a large amount of space. HTS provided a 52,000 CFM air turnover unit as the centerpiece of the system. Multiple other HVAC products were installed to complete the lineup including: five Daikin McQuay Vision air handling units totaling 9,415 CFM; a 140 ton Dakin McQuay Roofpak rooftop unit; and three Daikin variable refrigerant volume systems (VRVs) at 27,000 BTU’s.
