London Police Services, which long has operated out of a main headquarters building in London’s downtown, is renovating and expanding that facility. The $26 million project includes the addition of more underground parking, two floors of office space, increased training space and a state-of the-art firing range with ten positions.
Additionally, two oversized garages to house the force’s specialty vehicles and forensic vehicles are part of the project. A total of 55,000 square feet of new space is being added, and the first phase was completed in 2010.
The second phase of the big project is focusing on the renovation of London Police Services’ original 100,000-square-foot building. HTS Ontario was chosen to supply major HVAC equipment for the new facilities.
