Located in Hamilton, Ontario, Mohawk College is a public college of applied arts and technology that has provided a quality, higher education experience to students since 1967. The college educates and serves more than 31,700 full-time, part-time, apprenticeship, and international students. Mohawk is also home to the country’s largest net zero energy institutional building.
Mohawk’s new 96,000 square-foot Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation, located at the Fennell campus, will build on Mohawk’s applied research strengths in the three focus areas of health, energy, and technology. This new building has also been selected by the Canada Green Building Council as a national pilot project to demonstrate its new net-zero energy carbon standard and validation process.
