The Phoenix Tower, a top notch 34-story commercial building in Houston, features not only a Jack Nicklaus-designed roof-top putting green, but top tier Siemens Talon HVAC System controls provided, installed, and commisioned by HTS Texas.
The expectations were high for this premier client. HTS needed to supply a system that allowed for precise control and high efficiency, all without interferring with the occupants. The integration of the new Siemens Talon system was part of an extensive plan to increase the value of the property while increasing the energy performance. Electrical consumption has been reduced by 60% through the recalibration of the building automation system, central plant optimization and other various energy efficiency renovations. Over 500 individual office thermostats are fully integrated into the control system with efficient scheduling.
