The construction of Peirce Boston was equipped with a new HVAC system. The 30-story, residential building needed a large, high efficiency unit for building-wide ventilation that would be able to fit into tight footprint constraints. To meet these needs, HTS New England provided 50,000 CFM of Innovent Water-Cooled, Water-Sourced Energy Recovery Units.
The energy recovery system will minimize operating costs by reducing equipment cooling and heating load requirements, ensuring Peirce Boston receives the highest air quality at a cost-effective rate, while also qualifying the building for LEED Silver certification. The new construction is home to 109 condominium units, 240 rental units, and over 20,000 square-feet of retail space.
