The Resolute Health Fitness Center in New Braunfels needed an air conditioning system for its new natatorium that would maintain proper temperature and humidity in the swimming pool area. The mechanical engineer, MS2, chose HTS based on demonstrated natatorium expertise to help design a system that would create ideal conditions and prevent the walls and windows in the swimming pool area from sweating.
HTS provided Gillette air conditioning with various pieces of equipment to create a system that would provide the ideal air conditions. The natatorium was fitted with a 40-ton Poolpak air handling unit and condensing unit, and three Daikin rooftop units totaling 60 tons. HTS also worked with DXS to equip the facility with a Daikin VRV system that included two 3-ton and one 1-ton ducted air handling units.
