Riverside Natural Foods fit out a new facility in Toronto for manufacturing and distributing its brands. During the design phase, HTS worked closely with Brumar to understand the project goals and select the most appropriate equipment. Integrating the building automation system into the scope allowed HTS to fully drive the project and ensure that goals were met from both equipment performance and operational standpoints.
HTS supplied Daikin AGZ air-cooled chillers, RefPlus fluid coolers, and large indoor Air Rotation Units. HTS Controls supplied and installed a building automation system to control various equipment and systems within the facility. This included the sequencing of the air-cooled chillers and dry coolers to provide chilled water from chillers in the summer, and utilize free cooling in the winter via the dry coolers.
