Riverside South High School is a newly constructed educational facility designed with energy efficiency and future-ready infrastructure in mind. In support of its sustainability goals, the school implemented HVAC solutions that reduce reliance on fossil fuels. The integration of Heat Pump technology plays a key role in decreasing the building’s dependence on gas heating, contributing to broader decarbonization efforts. These systems are capable of handling a significant portion of the heating load while maintaining comfort and efficiency throughout the school year.
HTS provided the following equipment:
- Tempeff RG-L – DOAS (4,400 CFM to 9,800 CFM) with Heat Pump Cooling and Heating through remote Daikin VRF Condensing Units with Back-Up Gas Heat
- Daikin Rebel – RTUs (3–28 tons) with Energy Recovery Wheels and Heat Pump Cooling/Heating with Back-Up Gas Heat
