The Daphne Cockwell Health Science Complex is one of Ryerson University’s modern facilities in Toronto. This 33-storey building is home to programs such as the school of nursing, the school of nutrition and the school of occupational and public health. This facility also has 18 floors of residence space and the capacity of holding 332 students.
HTS used 500 ton Daikin Magnetic Bearing Chillers and 100 tons of Aermec 6-pipe Heat Recovery Chillers, which was the lock for this job. In the winter, the Aermec Chiller satisfies the cooling load and recovers energy to the hot water tub without mixing chiller water, hot water and condenser loops.
