From the time the Ottawa Congress Centre was demolished in the summer of 2009, to the projected opening date of the new center in the spring of 2011, this extremely fast-paced construction project will have been designed at the same time it is being built.
HTS is supplying HVAC equipment, including McQuay semi-custom Vision Air Handling Units, which have allowed the flexibility to modify the design and configure the units to meet each of the varied space requirements.
The kitchen supply and exhaust air is provided through a custom ecology filtration unit with energy recovery. The centre is being built to LEED-Silver certification standards, and indoor air quality will be a green component of redevelopment.
