The Woodstock General Hospital project involves construction of a new hospital facility in Woodstock, Ontario. The hospital provides primary care to a population of 54,000 people and offers specialized care to nearly 100,000 people within the County of Oxford. Upon completion in 2011, the new facility will have nearly double the amount of space in the existing care center.
The $71-million project will add 350,000 square feet and the new three-storey structure will add 178 beds to the 113 existing beds. Those will include more beds for mental health services, an intensive care unit, five new surgery theaters, and a complex continuing care unit. HTS was chosen to provide major HVAC equipment for this important new facility.
