For this 7,000 sqft bank in Pearland, Texas, the design team needed to provide 10 independent zones without scattering condensing units all over the exterior of the building. HTS Texas proposed a 26 ton Daikin VRV Heat Recovery Solution which included 2 condensing units and 10 indoor fan coil units. Ultimately, the Daikin system was chosen and it provided more than just a clean design. This heat recovery system decreased the building’s utility bill by 37%, lowered maintenance cost by $100,000/year and ended complaints about a noisy HVAC system.
